My Intention Statement

I want to learn self-mastery over the next 12 months. This has been a goal of mine for decades. The author of the book that we are currently reading stands on the shoulders of the giants who predeceased him, giants whose work was published nearly a century ago. Their work inspires and teaches people how to master themselves and fulfill their dreams.

One of the best books I first read nearly 30 years ago and still refer to is by the author Napoleon Hill, entitled Think and Grow Rich. So many people who read this think that the wealth that he refers to in the title is about money when, in fact, it is about living a rich and fulfilled life. There is true genius in those pages, and many others; Mastery by Robert Greene is a beautiful book and truly as inspiring as some of the great titles that have come before it.

I plan to finally achieve self-mastery and develop a detailed and in-depth plan to accomplish the foundations on which I will build my life's task. I originally had a rocky start on my journey to earn my master's in media design. This class and the first week's assignment blew my ship out of the water. I have had a very challenging career, actually two of them. I feel that many of the significant paths I have gone down have been wrong, not to say I have not learned much. However, the assignment required me to acknowledge and relive some of the hardest challenges in my life, and it took me nearly twice as long as the allotted time to complete it. As a result, I am behind on everything, which is not the start that I foresaw prior to starting this program. The two significant careers I have pursued have given me the knowledge and abilities to consider accomplishing the goals that I have for my future.

Some of the primary goals I aim to achieve in this program are to add to the knowledge that I currently possess in the field of media design and arm myself with all the resources I need to promote and market my company. First, I would like to Develop the content to promote my post-production business. Second, I want to create a development package and business proposal to purchase land and build a mid-sized studio and film sound stage with a full-sized virtual production set-up.
